Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 8 August 2026

1. Seller identification

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are entered into between:

(hereinafter "the Seller"), and any individual or entity purchasing the product described below on homesteadscoresales.rjdana.com (hereinafter "the Customer").

2. Subject

These Terms govern the sale of the HomesteadScore software, a private, fully offline application designed to structure and track a personal self-sufficiency and resilience plan (water, food, energy). The sale grants a lifetime license to use the software, non-exclusive and non-transferable — not the sale of a physical medium, nor an online service dependent on a Seller server.

3. Price

The price is displayed on the sales page at the time of order, tax included. It is a one-time payment; no subscription or renewal is associated with this license.

4. Order, payment and Paddle's role

The order and payment are handled entirely by Paddle.com, acting as the online reseller and Merchant of Record for this sale. Paddle bills the Customer, collects and remits any applicable tax (VAT/sales tax where relevant), issues the invoice, and handles all support related to payment, refunds and billing disputes. Paddle's Buyer Terms apply to the payment transaction itself, in addition to these Terms which cover the product and its use.

5. Delivery and activation

As the product is digital, no physical delivery takes place. Upon payment, a license key is generated automatically and sent by email to the address provided at checkout, generally within a few minutes. The Customer activates the application at score.rjdana.com by entering this key.

If the email is not received (including in the spam folder) within 24 hours, the Customer is invited to contact rjdana.auteur@gmail.com.

6. Right of withdrawal

As this is digital content supplied without a physical medium and delivered immediately, the Customer expressly agrees that performance begins upon receipt and activation of the license key, and accordingly waives any statutory 14-day right of withdrawal once activation has begun. The Customer nonetheless retains the benefit of the money-back guarantee described in section 7.

7. Money-back guarantee

The Seller offers a 30-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. See the Refund Policy for full terms.

8. Warranties and liability

HomesteadScore is a planning and tracking aid for a preparedness and self-sufficiency effort; the scores, progress percentages and indications shown are estimates intended to help you organize your approach and do not constitute professional, medical, safety, or emergency-management advice. The Seller cannot be held liable for decisions made by the Customer, nor for the consequences of any real situation, based solely on the information provided by the application. It is the Customer's responsibility to comply with applicable local regulations (in particular regarding water, electricity, livestock or storage) and to seek qualified professionals where the situation requires it.

The software is provided "as is". The Seller strives to ensure it works correctly but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or complete absence of errors, without prejudice to applicable statutory warranties.

9. Intellectual property

The software, its brand, interface and content remain the exclusive property of the Seller. The purchase grants the Customer a personal right to use the license, excluding any right of resale, redistribution or modification of the software.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the Customer is invited to first contact the Seller at the address in section 1 to seek an amicable resolution before any legal action.

11. Contact

For any question about the product, these Terms, or to use the money-back guarantee: rjdana.auteur@gmail.com.

Template Terms provided as a starting point. They include the points explicitly required by Paddle (Merchant of Record statement, money-back guarantee of at least 14 days) and common consumer-law provisions, but have not been reviewed by a lawyer — please have them checked before publishing, particularly if the Seller's legal status or country of residence changes the applicable rules.
